A Day in Our Home
Good Morning,
I hope you’ve had a good night’s rest ! Each day starts with breakfast of your choice taken leisurely in your room whilst maybe reading your daily newspaper or deciding what you will do that day………weather permitting we do live in England remember !
Carrying out personal care either independently or with the help of our friendly trained care team.
This then takes you nicely to Morning Coffee / Tea Time. This is served in our 2 lounges giving you the opportunity to wish your fellow residents a “ Good Morning “ and have a chat. You are then refreshed and ready to receive visitors or go out and about, take part in any Activities programmed for that day, or return to your room and enjoy some daytime TV, radio etc or if the weather is being kind to us, spend some time in our lovely gardens, if it’s not , maybe sit and relax in the conservatory.
Lunch is our main meal of the day served in the Dining Room at 12.30
Enjoy your pre chosen meal in our comfortable Dining Room with your fellow residents.
Time then to recharge the batteries with an after Lunch nap in your room or relax in the lounges.
Afternoon Tea is served at 3pm in the lounges or in your room if you are entertaining visitors if you so wish.
Just about enough time left to maybe pop to the shops, or be pampered by our visiting Hairdresser or Chiropodist etc or join in with the afternoon activities or relax in the garden or conservatory or your room before Supper.
Supper is served in the Dining Room at 5.30pm
Enjoy your pre chosen supper and chat with your fellow residents about how your days have been. After supper choose to sit for a while in the TV lounge with residents or return to your room to view your favourite programmes on your own TV, listen to the radio, maybe read another chapter in your current book, or just relax before starting your bedtime preparations, either independently or again with the help of our care team.
Comforting evening drinks are served from 7.30pm.
Time then to snuggle down in bed at your chosen time and reflect how your day has gone and what you might decide to do the next day, safe in the knowledge that there are trained staff on duty through the night at the end of a bell should you need them.
Night, night, sleep tight, see you again in the morning.
